It’s time for some holiday cheer and merriment!
Bona Fide Bellevue and Grow Avalon are excited to announce the details for this year’s joint celebration between our Boroughs: Light Up Bellevue! and Light Up Avalon! This annual tradition will take place on Saturday, December 3rd from 5-9 PM around The Center of Bellevue, as well as around the Avalon Borough Building. The joint event will include an outdoor holiday market, activities for children, tree lighting, a visit from Santa, live music, and more!
This celebration brings thousands of people to the streets of Bellevue and Avalon and there are lots of ways you can participate!

Street Closure:
The streets will be closed from Balph to Jackson in Bellevue and N. Ohio to Star in Avalon, from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Children’s Activities:
There will be opportunities for children to participate in activities throughout the evening which will encourage families to shop along Lincoln & California Avenues. We are looking for businesses and restaurants that would be interested in sponsoring and/or hosting an activity, craft, snack, etc. This could include ornament making, decorating cookies, a hot cocoa bar, paper wreaths, and more! We invite you as a local business — either off Lincoln/California or on — to partner with us and highlight your business by hosting an activity. We’re even happy to help with the planning and ideas!
Holiday Market:
Get holiday shoppers in your doors early!! Businesses are encouraged to extend their hours and/or offer specials during Light Up Bellevue and Avalon! to allow for holiday shopping. Local and regional vendors will be set up on Lincoln Avenue between Balph and Hawley (for those outside of the event area).
Restaurants:
Feed those hungry people during the festivities! We’re looking for local restaurants that would like to be featured as food vendors during the event. Local restaurants are encouraged to set up sidewalk sales or offer specials. For restaurants located outside of the event area who want to be closer to the action, we will have a section set aside by Jackson specifically for food vendors and invite restaurants to set up tables and sell their items. Let us know if you’d like to be a part!
Sponsorship Opportunities
We’ve developed several levels of participation. Businesses willing to host a children’s activity will receive a free logo in our program, or a free upgrade for one of the other advertisement options below. You are welcome to choose multiple options for your business.
November 11th is the deadline to confirm participation through the above options. Payments and all necessary files should be submitted by this date.
