Bona Fide Bellevue’s Scholarship Programs

At Bona Fide Bellevue, we believe in nurturing potential and amplifying voices that shape the future of our world. To support students who demonstrate initiative, kindness, and a desire to make a positive difference, Bona Fide Bellevue offers two scholarship opportunities for graduating students of Northgate High School.

The Ember Award honors a graduating Northgate student whose character and promise may not follow a traditional path but shine with potential — a $500 recognition selected by teachers to help spark inspiration.

The Bona Fide Bellevue Beacon Scholarship awards $1,500 to a graduating Northgate student who is pursuing additional educational opportunities post-high school (Post-secondary school includes college, university, technical, trade, etc.) and who shares thoughtful, original ideas through a series of short personal essays. Applicants are invited to reflect on their experiences, the values that guide them, and how they hope to contribute to the well-being of others. This award celebrates students who show initiative, treat others with respect, and work to make their school and neighborhood stronger. Through this program, Bona Fide Bellevue hopes to encourage the next generation of thoughtful leaders who care about those around them and the future of the place they call home.
