We are based in Ohioville, PA and do the majority of our farming in Enon Valley, PA. Jeremy grew up working on his parents’ produce farm and greenhouses. You could say he has been farming since he was born! In 2005, Jeremy married Kim, who was a city girl from Cleveland, OH. Throughout our 16 years of marriage, Jeremy has been teaching Kim the basics of farming and Kim has been teaching Jeremy how to use Instagram! Together, with our children we love working the land and harvesting the fruits of our labor. With three children to feed, Kim loves to use the produce we grow in healthy recipes and sharing the recipes with others.
We’re a small family run farm. Jeremy handles all the farming operations. Kim handles the marketing including social media and our webpage. We work with our three children in the field planting and harvesting. We grow a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Throughout the season, plan on seeing peas, garlic scapes, garlic, zucchini, squash, a variety of peppers, tomatoes, fresh herbs such as mint and lavender, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, a variety of greens, berries, watermelons and cantaloupes. We grow a variety of specialty peppers including an aji dulce pepper which is used in many Hispanic dishes, including sofrito. We also grow a variety of melons including cantaloupes and seedless watermelons.
Although Jeremy has been working at local Farmers Markets most of his life, this is our first year at the Bellevue Farmers Market. Jeremy will always be happy to explain the growing process and Kim will more than likely share a recipe with you. Often times, the kids accompany us to the market as they love to visit the other vendors (especially Breadworks).
When we are not on the farm, you’ll most likely find us camping and hiking in the mountains! Both of us are also fluent in Spanish and are teaching our children to speak Spanish also.
