This week’s vendor spotlight is on the face of Uncle Jammy’s Sauces- Jamal Etien-Harrigan.
Uncle Jammy’s is based in Fairywood, a small Pittsburgh Neighborhood slightly south and west of the city between McKees Rocks and Crafton/Ingram.
According to Jamal, Uncle Jammy’s Sauces is the machination of a guy with the linear skills of a Roomba – 16 years in the making over several kitchens. Those early kitchens saw the brand start as The Smokey City’s 412 BBQ making small, batch, all-natural, preservative-free wing sauce, seasoning, and dry rub company. After further growth, the sauces brand became a spin-off now known as Uncle Jammy’s Sauces.
Jamal has been representing Uncle Jammy’s Sauces at the Bellevue Farmers Market for the past four seasons and is joining us in 2022 for a fifth season. He features many unique products, including an All Black BBQ Sauce, Avocado, Jalapeno & Tequila Sauce, Say Yes to Sriracha BBQ, great apparel, and more.
