Growing up in a big Italian family, everything revolved around food! However, I am a self-taught baker who started baking out of my house as a hobby. I’m very blessed to have had the opportunity to turn my hobby into my dream job – it’s such an honor to be part of people’s special occasions!
Our team is made up of me, my son, family friends, and an experienced decorator. This year Melissa will be representing The Cakery at the Market. She has been part of our team at The Cakery and Mandy’s Pizza since early 2022. Melissa loves the outdoors and volunteers her time (along with her husband Jim) helping senior dogs at Gray Paws rescue. We love having her!
This is our sixth year at the Bellevue Farmers Market. While we have not yet settled on our entire product lineup, we will have our cookies, brownies, pie bars, biscotti, scones, quick breads, crisps, and keto/diabetic desserts. My favorite thing about the market is the sense of community and family. It’s such a joy to watch the little ones growing up each year, yet their favorite cookie stays the same!
